The newly available ignition lance for the use in hazardous areas, D-ZL 441 Ex, has an EC type approval according to ATEX standards for Gas and Dust (PTB 11 ATEX 1004 X).

The protection ratings are:

• II 2 G Ex d IIC T6, T5 and T4 Gb
• II 2 D Ex tb IIIC T 80, 95, and 130°C Db IP65

Some of the ignition lances already installed in the field can be upgraded to the ATEX approved version with an expansion set. For clarification of the technical possibility please feel free to contact us with the original order and serial number.
